West Kazakhstan Region and Liaoning Province Plan to Expand Cooperation in Science, Education, and Technology
Secretary of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee Xu Kunlin, Governor of the Province Wang Xinwei, and Chairman of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference Zhou Bo Shenyang met with guests at the International Conference of Sister Cities held in Shenyang. The delegation from the West Kazakhstan Region was led by Akim Nariman Turegaliyev.

The leadership of Liaoning Province expressed gratitude to the participants, noting that this step is a clear demonstration of a sincere intention to develop cooperation between the two regions. According to Xu Kunlin, under the leadership of the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, comprehensive ties with sister cities have been established at the global level, and their number has increased.
“Currently, Liaoning Province has 96 sister cities, and partnership relations have been established with nearly 400 cities. Representatives from more than 50 countries are participating in the international conference. This event provides a significant opportunity to strengthen strategic partnerships in the fields of education, science, and technology,” Xu Kunlin stated.

In addition, as part of the West Kazakhstan delegation’s working visit to China, Akim Nariman Turegaliyev held personal meetings with Xu Kunlin and Wang Xinwei, as well as negotiations in an expanded format. The main purpose of the visit is, in accordance with the President’s directives, to strengthen foreign economic ties, increase investment volumes, and implement joint projects in key sectors.
