Uralsk and Jinzhou have become sister cities. The corresponding agreement, aimed at strengthening cooperation between the West Kazakhstan Region and Liaoning Province, was signed during an international conference held in Shenyang.<\/p>\n

A delegation from the West Kazakhstan Region, led by Akim Nariman Turegaliyev, participated in the large-scale event in China. The forum brought together representatives from 50 countries and showcased the potential of Liaoning Province, one of China\u2019s largest industrial centers.<\/p>\n

At the plenary session of the conference, Akim Nariman Turegaliyev delivered a report outlining a number of proposals for the further development of interregional cooperation.<\/p>\n

West Kazakhstan Region serves as an important transit hub for the \u201cBelt and Road Initiative\u201d proposed by the President of the People\u2019s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, in Astana. As a result of the agreements reached and the support provided, Chinese companies have begun implementing projects to build liquid methanol and cement plants, as well as gas turbine and wind power plants. Other promising projects are also underway. Last year, the trade turnover between West Kazakhstan Region and China increased 1.5 times, reaching USD 175 million. We are ready to further deepen investment cooperation with Liaoning Province in the fields of innovative solutions, artificial intelligence, and manufacturing, emphasized Nariman Turegaliyev.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Cities in Liaoning Province maintain sister city relations with 96 cities worldwide. Today, the administrative center of West Kazakhstan Region has joined this network. The leaders of Uralsk and Jinzhou signed a protocol of intent to establish sister city relations. The document provides for the development of ongoing interaction between the parties in trade-economic, scientific-technical, cultural-sport, and other important areas.<\/p>\n
